Today I was talking with a friend about some lyrics of the song, “On Our Side” which is one of the three original songs in the pilot episode. He had mentioned that one of the lines,

“This can work out easily”

which conveniently rhymed with Synergy, might give the audience the wrong impression about climate change. That there are some hard times ahead regarding the Environment and these lines may give the listener a false optimism. Here are the opening lines:

Hey brother, can you see

The magic that surrounds you & me

We call that synergy

Hey sister, could it be

Everything we need is right beneath our feet

This can work out easily

I responded: Something to consider is that when people are using the principles outlined in the show—from Native American wisdom, Buckminster Fuller philosophy and Hugo’s sci-fi experience coming from the year 2054—and are connecting with wholeness, their reality changes. They may not find themselves living in the frustrating, sometimes deadly experiences where terror may be raining down on the Earth.

Personally, when I'm working on this project,
Get Back to Our Nature, including the writing, the music, artwork and the websites, doing my best using my talents and skills, I am not worried about all of the problems and the suffering that may be happening out there. Does this sound heartless? The problems and the suffering are consequences, like signposts, for people who are lost in the problem. They are a wake up call for people to choose differently. This show is about solutions.

So in a way, this actually CAN BE something that works out easily, with the help of focus, right livelihood, camaraderie and Synergy. If a person is one with the Universe and is taking action according to their own inner knowing, like the oak tree in the acorn, all is well and all will be well. We are part of the ever-widening solution.
